How your vote earns weight

Your ballot makes calls. When two of your teams play, the one you ranked higher should win. When one of your teams plays an unranked team, yours should win. Only games played after you save count, so editing mid-weekend can't grade a game you already saw.

The odds grade the calls. Ranking Georgia over an unranked team and watching them win proves nothing, so it barely counts. Ranking a team over a favorite and being right counts a lot. Missing an easy one costs you. Rank only the favorites and you stay at 1Q 100.

Calls move your 1Q, next to your picks on Picks. Everyone starts at 100.

1Q sets your weight. At 100 your ballot counts once. At 125 it counts 2.25×. At 150, 4×. Near 50 it counts almost nothing. The people who watch the games and get them right steer the poll.
